Future

My future is ofcourse a great unknown, however my intentions are set. I want to pursue a masters in industrial engineering, more specifically Strategic Product Design at the TU Delft. I feel that SPD offers a curriculum that connects well with design thinking and my love for branding and graphic design.

This desire further draws on my acquired interest in design to business, and my want to gain experience in working with real stakeholders and businesses. The theoretical knowledge has been built, now I would like to apply and learn design thinking in a practical setting with implications.

On the long term, I would love to be part of a small design team either as a startup or an intrapreneurial split-off team. Creating business viable innovative solutions and designs is a skill I want to continue building on. Most likely the kind of design I'll pursue will be product design or game design. The kind of design I would love to be a part of is outdoor survival innovation, after being an inside kid for a long time, discovering and venturing the outdoors has become a newfound passion. In gathering the necessary gear for hikes I found many intriguing designs that addressed a combination of usability and UX.
